ATC's
bibliographic records are created in MARC format according
to AACR2 standards. Our records are created by
professionally trained catalogers who remain current about
changes in cataloging rules and standards. Our bibliographic
records are guaranteed to contain all fixed fields and most
other fields except the subject and call number. In some
cases, we provide subject headings and/or call numbers as
well.
ATC MARC records may be used by order divisions to save time
keying in orders. They may also be used by cataloging
divisions to cut down on processing time. Our records are
held to a high standard of quality, and thus can be reliably
used by catalogers in order to minimize cataloging time.
ATC bibliographic records are available free of charge with
all books we provide. Records may be obtained on paper, on
disk, or via e-mail or FTP transfer. If you wish to receive
records via FTP transfer, we will configure them according
to your library's needs, so that they can be uploaded from
our website into your computer system with a click of a
button.
In addition to cataloging the books we sell, ATC can also
provide full-level monograph cataloging for special
projects. This may include library backlogs, special
collections, or other kinds of cataloging projects. Our
staff of catalogers can accommodate all the languages of the
NIS as well as Polish. If you have a cataloging project
involving books from this region, and would like to know
more about the services we can provide in this area, please
contact us for more information.
